SEN 1-2-1 Football Coaching
Inclusive Coaching, Tailored to Every Player
How We Support SEN Players
At Next Phase Football, we believe football is for everyone — regardless of background, ability, or learning needs. That’s why we offer specialist 1-2-1 coaching for players with Special Educational Needs (SEN), delivered in a calm, supportive, and adaptable environment.
Our sessions are designed to help every player grow in confidence, develop their skills, and most importantly — enjoy the game.
✅ Tailored Coaching
Sessions are adapted to each player’s needs — from simplified instructions to visual aids or modified activities. We focus on strengths and build positively from there.
✅ 1-2-1 Sessions
Private sessions allow for a quieter, more focused environment that supports trust-building and progress at the player’s own pace.
✅ Parental/Carer Involvement
Parents and carers are welcome to stay, providing reassurance and continuity — especially helpful in early sessions.
✅ Flexible & Supportive Structure
We build in time for breaks, movement pauses or rest as needed. Sessions are kept flexible, reducing pressure while still supporting growth.
✅ Sensory-Friendly Environment
We minimise loud noises, shouting, or overwhelming instructions. Players are encouraged to bring headphones, fidget tools, or visual supports if they use them.
✅ Reasonable Adjustments
All activities are adjusted to ensure they are both accessible and enjoyable, encouraging players to stretch themselves in a way that feels safe and empowering.
Player Progress Document
Each player who joins Next Phase Football receives a Player Progress Document, updated after every session.
It includes:
-
Skills and drills completed
-
Observed improvements
-
Areas to work on
-
Personalised coach feedback
This helps track development over time and gives families a clear picture of the player’s journey.
Pricing
-
£40 for one-off sessions
-
£35 per session when booking a block of 4–10 sessions
(Full payment is required in advance for block bookings)
Open Communication
We’re always happy to have an open conversation before sessions begin. If your child has an EHCP, sensory profile, or communication passport, we welcome you to share it with us — it helps us tailor the experience to their specific needs.
